Golf Programs Designed With Our Members In Mind

Whether you are new to golf or wish to fine-tune your skills, Tanoan Country Club offers a variety of instructional programs taught by award-winning teaching professionals, as well as numerous opportunities for competitive or social play for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Golf Instruction

Tanoan Country Club offers a variety of instructional programs taught by a talented team of PGA golf professionals that are designed to meet each guest’s personalized goals. Instructional options range from individual lessons to an unlimited year-long program focused on players’ entire game – from fine-tuning the practice routine and perfecting golf fundamentals to on-course instruction in strategy.

Events for Fun and Competition

Tanoan Country Club offers a wide assortment of competitive and fun events designed to engage every member of the family – including Men’s, Women’s and Couples’ Golf Association tournaments, where Members can compete in individual and team competitions. The Club’s Member-Guest, the Fiesta de Tanoan, is regarded as the premiere member-guest event in Albuquerque. The Club also offers Men’s and Women’s Club Championships, Member/Member events and other monthly tournaments for all its golf associations.

Junior Golf

Open to Tanoan Country Club Members aged 6 to 17, our popular PGA Junior League teaches young people all aspects of the game in a fun, nurturing environment. From golf fundamentals to such practical skills as golf rules, etiquette and scoring, the program includes on-course instruction and opportunities for fun competition. We also offer yearly Summer Sports Camps with a wide variety of instruction and athletic activities as well as individual lessons and programming.

Equipment Fitting

Tanoan Country Club offers Members the opportunity to participate in Demo Days offered by top manufacturers including Titleist, TaylorMade, Cobra, Cleveland and Callaway, enabling them to try out the latest in golf equipment and technology. Our golf professional team is highly trained and certified in fitting as well. We also provide golf ball fittings and club regripping services to ensure the most pleasant experience when out on the course.
